Spontaneous applications
A spontaneous application for a Master’s thesis can be made via the Master thesis database. When you have registered your application, it will be available for managers within ABB. If you have not received a response within 5 weeks, please contact ABB (hrdirect@se.abb.com), and we will help you to enquire about Master’s theses within the organization. Acceptance is strongly dependent on availability of thesis programs at the time of application.
Master’s thesis outside Sweden
If you are interested in writing a thesis for an ABB unit in another country, bear in mind that ABB is an international group of autonomous entities at national level. This means that all contacts regarding Masters theses are handled by the country in question. Use the menu to the right to learn more about ABB in other countries.

Structure
Both the student and the employer should benefit from the thesis work. All thesis work includes academic research for the theoretical part and a practical part during which the theory is put into practice. The thesis work always entails regular reports on the status of the work and a presentation of the results at the end of the assignment.
